----------------------
Kiril Kundurazieff is a creative writer and blogger with 10 years of experience in storytelling, poetry, reporting, and photography. Kiril has created more than 4500 blog posts of original content for four blogs on the themes of creative writing, hobbies, cycling, cats, culture and society, personal journey, and enlightenment (Sneakeasy’s Joint (2002-07) and Mad Macedonian: 2007-present), adventures in bicycling (The Cycling Dude: 2003-10), and unique “cat opinions and thoughts” (The Opinionated Pussycat: 2010- present). The hallmark of Kundurazieff’s writing is his wit and peculiar sense of humor.
Kundurazieff is well-known, respected, and admired in the critter blogging world as well as by authors, journalists, bloggers, musicians, and business people of various types for his other writing. He began critter writing on a whim in 1998, by introducing himself as his cat on a public message board. One thing lead to another and eventually, Kundurazieff’s introduction blossomed into participating in the early years of critter blogging, beginning in 2004, leading to the creation of full-fledged writing voices of his cats, the gentleman Nikita and the sassy lady Elvira.
Kundurazieff proudly declares Nikita and Elvira to be the most opinionated pussycats in America, for their thoughtful contributions to the fictional Feline News Network and Institute for Feline Studies. Technically, Kundurazieff does the writing, but because he personifies his cats he credits them with the inspiration and the writing. Kundurazieff would rather be known as just the official research assistant, photographer, as well as provider, playmate, belly rubber, litter box cleaner, and liaison with humans as needed.
Kundurazieff relocated to Houston, Texas in September of 2012 after having lived in southern California all his life. Kundurazieff shares his apartment with his cats Nikita and Elvira, who are his source and inspiration for the creative writing that appears on his blog, Meowsings of an Opinionated Pussycat.
In November, 2013, a few weeks after Nikita went to Rainbow Bridge, the 10 wk. a 10 wk. old Tuxedo lady kitten entered his life and he named her Sneakers. Miss Elvira has taken her under her paw and she will join Elvira, writing on the blog, when ready.
