My name is Claudia, I am from Cagliari (Sardinia) and I have a passion – or rather obsession – for travelling. It started when I was a child, thanks to my parents who took me camping here in Sardinia when I was less than a year old, and later on took me on road trips around Italy and Europe. I loved the thrill of being on the road, of seeing new places, meeting new people, experiencing new cultures. To me, traveling is all about learning about the history and culture of the places I visit, meeting the locals, experiencing their daily life. My trips are all about discovering places that are on each travellers bucket list as well as the less known ones. I love meeting people, whether they are locals or other fellow travellers who want to share their anedocts. I like backpacking, even though it may be exhausting at times. I love couchsurfing and hostels, because they give me the chance to mingle with other travel addicts, so that I don’t feel like I am the only crazy nomad in the world, and I find I always have something to learn from their experience, it is great to share advice and even join paths for a while. I have friends all over the world, and one of my aims is to eventually visit all of them.

The five most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at
For most of my life, I have been a backpacker. I think I still am, at heart, and I generally enjoy staying in hostels, except on some rare occasions in which it was more like a hostel-nightmare. But...
I am really bad at keeping secrets, so before the word gets out and someone else says it for me and there is a huge misunderstanding, I suppose it is better that I actually say what I have been...
