EmoVoid is an anonymous depressed blogger, attempting to navigate life in an emotional wilderness. Her therapist believes EmoVoid is disconnected from her feelings, and suggested that she start a blog to reconnect with them. Before she became unemployed, EmoVoid was an award-winning journalist who spent seven years writing for magazines and local newspapers. Now, she writes about grief, depression, anxiety, eating disorders and other mental health issues.
Since leaping down the murky rabbit hole of writing about her mental health, EmoVoid has become passionate about challenging the insidious stigma that surrounds mental illness. She wants to help people develop a more accurate, compassionate understanding of how our minds work.
