Alex Karman’s career has been defined by a strong commitment to service, leadership, and making a positive impact. As a dedicated husband and father of four, he has successfully balanced his professional career with an intense devotion to his family. His journey includes military service, public service, and leadership in the private sector, with each phase enhancing his ability to lead and guide others.


Alex started his career in the United States Marine Corps, where he became a non-commissioned officer. His service in Al Anbar Province, Iraq, involved providing high-risk convoy security and engaging in a number of operations. Alongside these critical roles, he took on supervisory responsibilities, ensuring the safety and readiness of his team. A key assignment in Okinawa, Japan, gave him the responsibility of leading over 30 service members and overseeing their well-being. This experience further developed his leadership skills and earned him several personal awards for his dedication and leadership.


After completing his military service, Alex transitioned to the public sector, joining the Social Security Administration. Here, he conducted investigative interviews, determined eligibility for benefits, and made decisions that directly impacted individuals' lives. His fluency in both English and Spanish allowed him to communicate effectively with a diverse population, ensuring everyone received fair and accurate treatment. In addition to his regular responsibilities, he worked on complex cases involving congressional inquiries, overpayment recovery, and fraud prevention, showcasing his ability to handle challenging situations with integrity and precision.


Alexander then entered the private sector, applying his leadership experience in the insurance industry. He started as the Director of Sales at one of South Florida’s largest insurance brokerages, focusing on improving communication and operational efficiency within the company. His success in this role promoted him to Director of Broker Support and Licensing. In this role, he ensured compliance with industry regulations, including CMS and state DOI policies, while fostering a mentorship, accountability, and team development culture.


Outside of his career, Alex remains deeply committed to his family. He enjoys spending quality time with his wife and four children, often engaging in outdoor activities that strengthen their bond. His dedication to service extends beyond his family, as he actively supports charitable organizations such as Wounded Warriors and the Broward County Humane Society. He also volunteers at Chabad of Boca Raton, contributing his time and efforts to improve his community.


Alex Karman holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from Florida Atlantic University. His education and extensive practical experience have equipped him with the skills necessary to excel in various leadership roles. As he continues to grow professionally, he remains focused on making a lasting impact, contributing to the success of others, and striving for excellence in every aspect of his life.
