Ali Can Ergur earned a Bachelor of Arts in Law from Bilkent University in Turkey, which is widely considered as one of the country's best. Following his graduation from Bilkent, Ergur moved to Philadelphia to earn a Master of Laws (LLM) degree at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. In 2014, he received his master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

Ergur also earned a degree in the Law & Business Program at Penn's Wharton Business School.

Ali Can Ergur, 31, has over eight years of legal expertise, including successful tenures at a number of respected firms.

On Ergur's resume, he has held the following positions:

YHAS's Senior Attorney (2020-2021). As in-house legal counsel for the Istanbul-based firm, Ergur was responsible for drafting and negotiating term sheets and purchase agreements, advising on banking and finance agreements, and managing and coordinating external counsel for the firm's M&A and joint venture projects in over eight jurisdictions around the world.

As a Legal Associate at Baker McKenzie (2015-2019). Ali Can Ergur worked as a Legal Associate in the firm's Energy & Infrastructure and Private Equity practice areas, where she drafted several reports, agreements, and documents and advised global buyers and sellers on the sale of private and public companies.

Trainee Lawyer at White & Case LLP (2012-2013). In conjunction with approximately 250 tax litigation cases, Ergur's early experience as an attorney involved the writing of due diligence reports, closing documents, resolutions, and numerous lawsuits and appeal petitions.

Ali Can Ergur was born in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1990. He was an exchange student in Canada between 2007 and 2008. Ergur enjoys playing jazz guitar and building plastic scale models in his spare time.
