Texas has been the home and workplace for most of Amanda Jaggers' adult life. From kindergarten through eighth grade, Jaggers attended school in San Marcos, Texas, where he grew up. Jaggers and her family subsequently relocated to Lexington, Texas, where she graduated from high school in 2003 and was one of 72 students in her graduating class.

Later that year, Jaggers enrolled at Texas Tech University (TTU) and became one of just 10 individuals from her graduating class to enter a Division I institution. She began her career at Texas Tech University as a civil engineering student, but then switched to finance, real estate, and biology before moving to Texas A&M in 2005..

Balance Between Work and Family Life
After graduating from college, Jaggers began her work with Houston-based ConMed Linvatec as the company's first Sports Medicine Representative for their orthopedic product line.

When Amanda Jaggers tied the knot in August 2008, she was already a mother to a son and daughter. It wasn't long until Jaggers was fully committed to parenting her four children, who are now 12, 10, 7, and 5.

In 2010, Jaggers and their family relocated to Denver, Colorado, although they would return to Texas (Midland) in 2016. As of 2018, Jaggers and her children have lived in the New Braunfels neighborhood.
