1. Router Won’t Connect to Internet
One of the most common issues users face is when their router won’t connect to the internet. This problem can be caused by various factors, such as incorrect settings, ISP outages, or faulty hardware. It’s essential to first rule out any service interruptions from your ISP by checking if they’ve reported an outage in your area. Additionally, rebooting your router can often resolve minor connectivity issues.
2. Router Connected, No Internet
At times, your router may appear to be connected, but you still have no internet access. This issue often results from a configuration problem where the router is unable to communicate with your ISP’s servers. Double-check your router settings, including DNS, IP address, and DHCP settings, to ensure everything is configured correctly. You may also need to check your modem to ensure that it’s transmitting the internet signal to your router correctly.
3. Router Keeps Dropping Internet
Another frustrating problem is when your router keeps dropping the internet connection intermittently.
