Born to Evangelical missionaries, he was exposed to a rich tapestry of cultures and spiritual teachings, growing up in diverse locales such as Mexico City, San Diego, Redlands, Madrid, and Chicago. This unique upbringing shaped his worldview and instilled a deep appreciation for multicultural perspectives.

His educational path reflected his spiritual and cultural background. He pursued a competitive Bachelor of Arts degree at Colgate University, majoring in Political Science and Religion. This choice underscored his affinity for understanding societal dynamics through the lenses of governance and spirituality. His passion for knowledge didn't stop there; he furthered his academic pursuits by obtaining a Master of Divinity from Yale University. This was followed by a Doctorate in Ministry in Transformational Leadership from Boston University, marking his deep commitment to educational and spiritual growth.

Professionally, his journey was equally impactful. He served as a Pastor for various Hispanic non-denominational congregations in Massachusetts, New York, and South Carolina. In these roles, he provided spiritual guidance and played a significant part in community building and support. His belief in the transformative power of education led him to take on the role of an Adjunct Instructor at Tri-County Technical College. Here, he focused on uplifting under-resourced communities and empowering marginalized groups, demonstrating his dedication to societal upliftment.
