Benjamin M. Soto has spent more than 30 years building his career in real estate law and business. He owns two real estate-focused companies and is a licensed member of the DC Bar and the Pennsylvania Bar.


He founded Premium Title & Escrow, LLC in 2000. The firm provides settlement and title services for residential and commercial properties across Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and Tennessee. For over two decades, it has been recognized as one of the highest volume title companies in the DMV region. With a team that brings more than 100 years of combined experience, the company conducts title searches, issues Owner’s and Lender’s Title Policies, manages escrow funds, coordinates documents, and records them in Land Records to ensure smooth and reliable closings.


He also owns Paramount Development, LLC, a commercial development company based in Washington, D.C. The firm has been involved in significant projects, including The Wharf and large apartment buildings such as 555 E Street, SW, which combines a hotel, residential units, and retail space. Other developments include 1031 4th Street, NW, 350 Maple Drive, and the Hyatt Place Hotel at 400 East Street, SW. Completed in 2015, the Hyatt Place also includes a fire station that houses units responsible for protecting the U.S. President.


He serves on the Boards of Directors of EagleBank, the DC Chamber of Commerce, the DC Public Education Fund, and the American University Real Estate Council. Earlier in his career, he worked on bankruptcy cases before turning his full attention to real estate transactions. Over time, he has also served on civic boards and acted as treasurer on several mayoral and council campaigns.


A native of Washington, D.C. and a graduate of American University, he has been married for 27 years and has two children, Danielle and Alex. He enjoys reading and traveling.
