Boro "Bob" Skoric has spent nearly 40 years helping people reconnect with the world through sound. As an audioprosthologist and board-certified professional in hearing instrument sciences, he brings his expertise and genuine passion to every aspect of his work. He is the founder and president of Beltone-Skoric Hearing Aid Center, which has grown to 37 locations across northern Michigan. His goal has always been simple: to help individuals regain their hearing and enhance their quality of life.


Originally from Eastern Europe and now residing in West Palm Beach, Florida, Bob Skoric began his career in music. For over 30 years, he performed locally and internationally in Serbian folk and Balkan music. His love for music began in his hometown of Donji Stepci, where he was inspired by his father and uncles, who played the guitar. At age eight, he started playing the guitar, later discovering his true passion for the accordion, which he studied under a respected teacher. His dedication and skill earned him the "First Accordion of North America and Canada" title in 1985.


Outside of his work with hearing aid patients, Skoric enjoys recording acoustic music in his home studio and spending time with his family. His early experiences with music shaped his understanding of sound as not just a scientific element but something profoundly human. This led him to pursue a career in hearing care, where he has worked with many people who have withdrawn from the world due to hearing loss.


Although not a doctor, Boro holds certification in audioprosthology and hearing instrument sciences. He specializes in assessing hearing loss and fitting hearing aids, ensuring that each patient receives the most appropriate care. He is an active member of the International Hearing Society and has previously served as Vice President of the Michigan Alliance of Hearing Care Professionals.


Boro has helped over 20,000 people regain their hearing, giving them the tools they need to improve their quality of life. He is passionate about educating his patients on the importance of early intervention and the solutions that can make a lasting difference.
