Bruno Amezcua Male Canada

Bruno Amezcua's career in the visual arts began under the tutelage of his grandfather, a distinguished film editor whose influence spanned from the 1950s to the 1970s. This early exposure to the art of film editing and production instilled in him a deep appreciation for the craft of storytelling through visual media. Motivated by these foundational experiences, he pursued a formal education in the arts, seeking to refine his talents and develop his unique voice as a storyteller.

He attended the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in Mexico City and completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts. His quest for a deeper understanding of the arts took him to the Museo Gregorio Prieto in Ciudad Real, Spain. At this esteemed museum, he immersed himself in life drawing and absorbed the rich artistic traditions that would greatly inform his creative process. Continuing his educational journey, he moved to Canada to attend the Centennial College of Fine Arts and Technology in Ontario. There, his academic excellence was recognized with a scholarship for outstanding international students, and he graduated with honors in 2008.

Throughout his career, he has worked on several high-profile projects showcasing his CG camera work, storyboarding, and classic illustration skills. His contributions to the film industry include significant roles in major productions such as "Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3" (2023), "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" (2011), "Next Gen" (2018), and "Maya and the Three" (2021). His technical expertise and creative vision have made him a pivotal figure in animation, particularly in projects requiring a nuanced understanding of visual storytelling.
