At all times in the past that she can think of, Carmen Polanco has had a camera in her hand. Her grandfather gave her her first camera. It was a simple automatic point-and-shoot. Her family was just so happy and willing to pose for her. They did poses that made the photos look more natural, willingly posed for birthday photos, and did any other pose you could think of. Her family's support is what made Polanco want to become a photographer.
