Chris Throgmorton has built his career on taking initiative and guiding teams through complex responsibilities. From leading more than 150 Marines to overseeing clinical trial transparency at Neurocrine Biosciences, he has focused on clear goals and dependable outcomes.

As Head of Clinical Transparency at Neurocrine, he manages global clinical trial disclosure and ensures compliance with FDAAA 801, EU CTR, and other regulations. His experience in military service, biopharmaceutical organizations, and government-regulated environments has shaped a direct and steady approach to leadership.

At Neurocrine, Chris designed and implemented the clinical trial disclosure program. He developed standard operating procedures, created vendor oversight systems, and introduced document management tools, including Smartsheet and SharePoint. He also advises senior leadership and monitors regulatory updates to keep the organization prepared.

Earlier in his career, Chris served as a Program Lead at a large biotechnology company. In that position, he managed supplier performance and analytics within the Regulatory Affairs and Safety department. He was responsible for budgets over $50 million and led strategy for more than 15 global drug products. His work improved audit readiness, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency by creating governance frameworks and performance dashboards.

Chris's foundation in leadership began in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he was a Sergeant and Quality Assurance Safety Observer. He led Marines and civilian contractors, and during his tenure in this role, his unit was the only one on base to pass the annual audit, earning him the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.

Outside his professional work, he donates to CHOC to support children’s health, serves on the board of Kid Gloves Boxing to mentor youth, and contributes to veteran transition services.

Chris Throgmorton earned an MBA from California Lutheran University and a BA from Arizona State University. He enjoys fitness, community involvement, and staying current on biotech policy.
