Dr. Christina Propst was born in New York City and raised bilingual in German and English. She graduated Cum Laude from Horace Mann School, where she excelled in academics, athletics, and music. She attended Princeton University, majoring in Politics, and graduated Cum Laude in 1991. After graduation, she taught English in Japan through the Princeton-in-Asia program before attending Tulane University School of Medicine. She graduated in 1998 in the top 5% of her class and completed her residency at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine. Her academic recognition includes induction into Alpha Omega Alpha, as well as the Herbert B. Rothschild, M.D. Award, and the Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation.

She has supported her community through medical work after Hurricanes Katrina and Harvey, advocacy for children’s health, and public education during the COVID-19 pandemic. Together with her family, she has contributed to many charitable efforts that focus on children, health, and community service.

She has balanced her career with raising children and celebrating more than 30 years of marriage. She enjoys gardening, traveling, sailing, spending time outdoors, and sharing moments with her family and friends. Service continues to guide her both professionally and personally.
