He later joined the Las Vegas Locomotives in the United Football League, playing a key role in helping the team win a championship.

Growing up in Imlay City, Michigan, David excelled in multiple sports, including basketball, football, and track. He earned All-State honors in basketball and set records in track events. In high school, he scored over 60 touchdowns on the football field, showcasing his athleticism. After high school, he attended Grand Valley State University, where he helped lead the team to its first National Championship and set numerous NCAA records.
