Dr. David Miranda’s academic journey began at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1993. This foundational period led him to Cornell University Medical College in New York City, where he completed his medical degree in 1998. His residency at Northshore University Hospital/New York University School of Medicine was distinguished by his significant contributions to research, which were recognized by the Resident Research Award in 2001. He continues to research, focusing on the musculoskeletal response to exercise and the development of electronic medical record systems.

Since beginning his medical practice in 2001, he has demonstrated exceptional capability in managing medical and surgical emergencies for adults and children. His expertise extends to handling complex trauma and various conditions in neurology, cardiology, pulmonology, and nephrology.
