Drew Doscher Male United States of America

Drew Doscher is a finance professional with over 30 years of experience on Wall Street. He is known for his expertise in distressed debt and the credit market. Drew has worked with top firms such as Lehman Brothers, UBS, Barclays, and Jefferies throughout his career. His ability to help smaller companies grow into successful businesses has demonstrated his skill in transforming challenges into opportunities.

Drew grew up in Stuyvesant Town, New York, and initially considered a career in law enforcement. However, after graduating from the College of Holy Cross in 1991, he entered the financial industry. His first role was in the back office of a financial firm, but he quickly moved to the trading floor. Drew began his career at Oppenheimer & Co., where he was mentored by Jon Bauer, a well-known Wall Street figure who introduced him to distressed bonds and loan markets. In 1995, Drew joined Lehman Brothers, where he worked under Tom Bernard, a respected leader in the industry.

In 2001, Drew made a significant move to UBS, where he was tasked with building a global distressed trading business. This was a new venture for UBS in the U.S. and Europe. Reporting directly to Robert Wolf, Drew succeeded in establishing UBS as a key player in the distressed markets.

Drew’s next significant move came in 2006 when he joined Barclays, working under Bob Diamond. As a Managing Director, Drew played a key role in developing a global distressed debt business across the U.S. and Europe, solidifying Barclays’ position in the financial market.

In 2009, Drew saw an opportunity with Seaport Group, a much smaller firm with only 40 employees. He helped transform Seaport into Seaport Global, a full-service financial company. Drew expanded the business into Europe and grew the team to over 100 people. Under his leadership, the firm’s revenue increased from under $25 million to $125 million.

Drew’s success at Seaport led to a position at Jefferies, where he helped rebuild the firm’s reputation after a scandal. Later, he built a credit business at BTIG and expanded StoneX into new markets.

Drew Doscher’s career is defined by his integrity and leadership. Known as the “honest guy in a dishonest business,” he has always prioritized transparency and direct advice. His contributions continue to impact the finance industry and his community.
