Dr. Michael Gaudiani began his journey into medicine at Harvard University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Human Evolutionary Biology while minoring in English. At Harvard, he gained crucial front-line medical experience working as an EMT-B in Boston. This role provided him with foundational medical skills and fueled his passion for healthcare, prompting him to pursue further medical education.

After Harvard, Dr. Gaudiani attended Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, where he excelled academically and graduated with Honors in Research in 2021. He is a fourth-year orthopedic surgery resident at Henry Ford Health in Detroit, Michigan, based at Henry Ford Hospital—a Level 1 trauma center known for handling complex trauma cases. This challenging environment allows him to refine his skills in orthopedic surgery, preparing him to become a leader in his field.

Beyond his clinical and surgical duties, he is deeply involved in orthopedic research, contributing to the field through numerous peer-reviewed articles and presentations at regional and national conferences. His research focuses on advancing surgical techniques and improving patient outcomes.

He also brings a unique perspective from his background in competitive swimming, where he competed nationally, including at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials. His experiences as a swim team co-captain have honed his leadership skills, which he applies in his medical practice.
