Georgiy Balyuk was born in Ukraine on July 22, 1999, and relocated to the United States at three. Having grown up in the suburban areas north of Chicago, he now calls Canton, Georgia, his home. He works as a software engineer at State Farm, where he has been employed for nearly two years, focusing on cloud scaling technologies, artificial intelligence, and neural networks.

Georgiy is advancing his education at DePaul University in Chicago, pursuing a Master’s in software development. His exemplary academic record has consistently placed him on the Dean's Board, and he is expected to graduate in the fall of 2025.

Before joining State Farm, Georgiy Balyuk's professional journey included a significant tenure at Fiserv Inc. in Alpharetta, Georgia, from August 2021 to April 2023. During this period, he developed scalable Java/Spring applications, employing micro-service architecture and best coding practices in a CI/CD environment. His work centered on automation, enhancing high-scale pipelines, and facilitating swift cloud deployment, which paved the way for his current role.

Since April 2023, he has been with State Farm in Sandy Springs, Georgia. In this position, he is tasked with designing and developing advanced AWS architecture solutions to optimize performance and scalability. His achievements include spearheading the development of an internal application monitoring platform that has significantly improved system reliability and streamlined operational workflows. He frequently collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative cloud solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Georgiy is certified by Oracle Java SE 8 (OCA), underscoring his proficiency in Java programming fundamentals, including object-oriented principles, core syntax, and essential APIs such as collections and streams. This certification highlights his skills in managing modular applications, exception handling, and functional programming.

In addition to his technical roles, Georgiy has led several essential programming projects, such as developing a car rental platform and a restaurant data management system. He also co-developed an internal configuration adapter that bridges different platforms.

Outside his technical pursuits, Georgiy Balyuk enjoys traveling and exploring various cultures and cuisines, with a particular affinity for Savannah, Georgia, and Houston's diverse food scene. He is also an avid follower of the financial markets, often providing investment advice to friends and family. His interests include spending time with his Samoyed, indulging in his passion for film and television, and collecting Pokémon cards.
