Harminder Thind, also known as Hermin Thind, has dedicated over twenty years to building businesses focused on operational efficiency and people-centered leadership. From managing a Subway franchise to expanding Vapor Maven across multiple states, his career has been defined by steady progress, resilience, and a strong commitment to community.

Born in 1980 in Punjab, India, he and his family moved to Seattle in 1992 when he was twelve. This shift helped shape his work ethic and belief in self-reliance. After finishing high school, he pursued an associate degree in computer science, but soon realized his true passion was business. At 19, he purchased a Subway franchise, where he gained invaluable experience in managing inventory, staff, and customer service. These early lessons laid the foundation for his leadership style, which emphasizes being hands-on, addressing challenges promptly, and setting a strong example for others to follow.

After selling his Subway franchise, he explored other business opportunities, including running a Dairy Queen and opening the first Indian restaurant in a small town. Later, his family purchased a motel in Springdale, Arkansas. During the 2007 recession, he took over operations to keep the motel running. This period of hardship helped him develop resilience, refine his business management skills, and deepen his understanding of customer satisfaction.

In 2014, Harminder saw potential in the vaping market and opened the first Vapor Maven store. His goal was to offer quality products while educating customers on safer alternatives to smoking. As the business expanded, he developed systems for hiring, training, and maintaining operational consistency across locations.
