James Hurysz Male • United States of America
James Hurysz wanted to improve the quality of life in Arlington, so he ran in the Democratic primaries for the Arlington Board of Supervisors. After that, he left the Democratic Party and ran as an Independent for the U.S. House of Representatives in 2004 and 2006. (there is no party registration required in the Commonwealth of Virginia and it is common for candidates to run for political office as Independents). In his campaign for Congress, he said that the U.S. should stay out of wars in the Third World and get ready for a big increase in its own population in the 21st century.
