Jason Ghassan Barakat is a financial services leader, entrepreneur, and philanthropist with more than 25 years of experience. He is known for guiding organizational change and supporting communities through his work across financial, insurance, legal, and nonprofit sectors.

He has built a strong track record in developing talent and forming strategic partnerships. He has overseen more than a thousand advisors and 60 leaders across Canada, while also helping create over 200 partnerships with associations, groups, and government institutions to deliver value-driven financial services.

Barakat has dedicated his career to recruiting and mentoring individuals, helping many build meaningful careers and several advance into leadership roles. He has received recognition for financial performance, efficiency, and consistent results, reflecting his disciplined approach and the strength of his teams.

His work has been shaped by a continuous drive to learn and adapt. He has contributed to consulting, innovation, legal and financial integration, and strategic acquisitions. He aims to make financial and legal services accessible to a wider population, guided by fairness, social and economic value, and equal access to knowledge and protection.

After two decades in financial services, Ghassan Barakat founded Nolos Cabinet Multidisciplinaire Inc in 2022. The company brings together FinTech, InsurTech, and LegalTech to expand access to services for middle-class families. As CEO, he built an ecosystem that includes a Quebec-based legal firm, a notarial study, and a national MGA offering protection and wealth solutions.

He leads a multidisciplinary team and has supported growth through acquisitions and partnerships. In 2022, he acquired a legaltech firm based in Quebec, and in 2023, he launched a foundation focused on access to justice and family planning. He also acquired a technology firm to strengthen institutions' digital capabilities.

Earlier in his career, he worked as a senior consultant, advising major industry organizations on innovation and distribution strategies. From 2003 to 2021, he served as President and Principal Officer of a financial services firm, increasing assets under management from $300 million to over $3 billion. He later led a national firm focused on disability and personal finance solutions and also contributed to modernizing a financial distribution group.

Barakat has been involved in philanthropy for over 20 years, supporting charitable initiatives and community efforts. He contributes to fundraising activities, supports public institutions, and collaborates on educational projects while mentoring professionals.

He studied at a business school with a focus on finance, business law, and theology, and completed additional studies in investments, estate planning, insurance, and philanthropy.
