Born in India, Marupeddi moved to the United States 15 years ago to further his education. After earning a Master’s degree, he embarked on a career in software engineering, where he quickly made his mark with his technical skills and ability to solve complex problems. Over the years, his work has touched various industries, allowing him to build expertise in systems integration and software development.

Marupeddi joined TIGA in 2019, where he developed IOps, a software solution that integrates SCADA systems to streamline the management of oil and gas assets. The system allows users to monitor and control assets remotely, improving operational efficiency and reducing downtime. In addition, he worked on Messenger+, a tool that forecasts operational challenges such as scheduling and capacity by analyzing customer input data. His contributions to developing user interfaces, utilizing technologies such as Angular, Typescript, and CSS, have helped ensure that these platforms are intuitive and user-friendly.

Before joining TIGA, Marupeddi worked as a Software Developer at Verizon Business in Richardson, Texas. His role involved designing and developing web-based applications that enabled clients to manage their Verizon services. One of his notable projects was the E-Bonding system, a platform that allowed business customers to generate orders and manage trouble tickets. He played a key role in developing web services and ensuring that data integration between various systems was seamless, enhancing the overall user experience and improving operational efficiency.

After his time at Verizon, Marupeddi moved to the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, where he worked as a Java Developer. While there, he contributed to developing several state applications, including IBES, e-Verify, and Idalink, which helped determine eligibility for government assistance programs such as food stamps and Medicaid. His work involved applying agile and scrum methodologies to improve these applications, ensuring they processed and exchanged data more efficiently across various departments.

Later, Marupeddi worked as a Software Engineer at ABB in Sugarland, Texas, where he contributed to developing the nMarket Suite, a platform used in the energy sector to manage transactions, scheduling, and reporting. His work helped energy companies improve the efficiency of their operations by providing tools to execute bids, positions, and settlements more effectively.

Marupeddi holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Science Engineering from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where he was awarded a full tuition scholarship and stipend. He also earned a Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Hyderabad, India. Outside of his work, Marupeddi enjoys spending time with his family. He is married to Sravani Rampay, and they have two sons, Eeshan and Ayaan. The family is actively involved in their local community, particularly by participating in the Shirdi Sai Jalaram Mandir, where they donate meals to needy people. He is also passionate about sports and enjoys playing badminton in his free time. He is a fan of the Green Bay Packers in the NFL and the Houston Rockets in the NBA, and he follows the Indian national cricket team.
