Michael Chavira has over 15 years of experience in the following fields: sensor development and integration, systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and data science.

Where did he get his start and where did he get his work experience? Was it a job at a large engineering firm? Or perhaps a graduate program? Not exactly. Chavira decided early on that he wanted to help defend the United States and serve his country. Chavira pursued a military career first by attending the US Navy's Officers Candidate School (OCS) in Pensacola, FL after graduating from the University of Wyoming with a bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
