Starting in Rochester, NY, He had early ambitions of making it in the entertainment world, which eventually led him to Los Angeles, CA. Over time, he established a reputation through steady effort, taking on a variety of roles and learning to navigate the industry's ups and downs. One of his first significant opportunities was being cast as John Belushi in the made-for-TV movie “Wired,” a role that highlighted his dedication and professionalism.

Mike Saquella was chosen for this opportunity after years of performing as John Belushi in live shows such as “Legends in Concert” and “Legendary Superstars,” touring across the United States and Canada. His talent as a blues singer and impersonator helped set him apart from others. He continued working and focused on building his skills and taking on new projects.

In 2023, he played the lead in “A Conversation with a Mobster,” a comedy-drama where he portrayed an Italian-American crime boss with both humor and realism.
