By eliminating the involvement of third-party dealers and retailers, he aimed to reduce the cost of premium e-bikes by half compared to similar models offered by competitors. Simultaneously, Radenbaugh recognized the significance of establishing a close bond with his consumers, resulting in a business model prioritizing direct engagement and customer relationships.


Radenbaugh assembled a formidable team that refined his business model as the company expanded. Rad Power Bikes established company-owned retail stores nationwide and implemented mobile service centers. Additionally, partnerships were forged with an extensive network of bike shops, creating an efficient supply chain that minimized obstacles and delays, ensuring prompt delivery of e-bikes to consumers.


While the convenience of transportation serves as a driving force behind Radenbaugh's e-bike endeavors, his commitment to reducing humanity's carbon footprint is another essential pillar guiding his actions. Mike Radenbaugh has expanded his mission of providing eco-friendly transportation options through his company by innovating popular recreational and work vehicles. He co-founded GolfBoard, a company dedicated to designing electric 4-wheel skateboards for use on golf courses. This environmentally conscious solution reduces pollution and energy consumption and minimizes damage caused by traditional golf carts.
