Naked Sundays United States of America

Naked Sundays is a beauty brand created to make sun protection an effortless part of daily skincare and makeup routines. The brand focuses on SPF products that apply smoothly, avoid a white cast, and can be reapplied throughout the day without disrupting cosmetics or changing the skin’s appearance.

The company began when former TV News journalist Samantha Brett observed colleagues spending long hours outdoors and later needing to have skin cancers removed. She realized no SPF option paired well with makeup while still offering strong, dependable protection for long days in the sun.

Naked Sundays grew from this realization and developed into a first-of-its-kind SPF line created by women and supported by scientific research. Its mission is to help reduce skin cancer rates for the next generation by offering protection that is practical, wearable, and easy to use in everyday routines.

The brand's first product was the Hydrating Glow Face Mist, which also served as a makeup setting spray. It sold out within two weeks. Later that same year, the company made its debut at Mecca in Australia with four products, which sold out rapidly when shoppers bought 3 months' worth of inventory in just 24 hours.

Naked Sundays continued to grow as more consumers looked for sun care that blended well with both skincare and makeup. Four years after launch, the brand remains a leader in the global SPF movement and has helped shape a category that brings sun protection, skincare, and makeup together into one streamlined routine.

The product line is now available through major beauty retailers and online. The brand can be found in more than 1000 Ulta Beauty stores in the United States, more than 1000 Shoppers Drug Mart stores in Canada, and at Sephora and Boots in the United Kingdom. Each year, the company introduces about 10 new products to support rising consumer interest.

Naked Sundays develops its SPF formulations by combining scientific innovation with plant-based skincare ingredients to deliver protection and a smooth finish. These qualities help the products blend seamlessly into daily beauty routines without disrupting the look or feel of makeup.

The collection includes a peptide foundation tint with strong consumer attention, a hydrating glow mist setting spray, water glow serum drops, a glow balm mineral stick in several blush shades, a bronzer, a hydrating moisturizer, and additional cosmetics infused with SPF. A fragrance line inspired by Summer is also part of the brand’s offerings.

The company remains committed to vegan and cruelty-free formulas and avoids sulfates, GMOs, petrolatum, and synthetic colors. Many creams, serums, and lotions are fragrance-free, offering gentle options that still deliver effective performance for a range of skin types.

Naked Sundays has been recognized throughout the beauty industry. The brand was featured in the 2025 WWD Editors' Choice SPF Awards for the CabanaClear Water Gel Serum SPF 50. In 2024, the BeautyScreen SPF50 Peptide Foundation Tint earned the title of Best Skin Tint for acne-prone skin from Cosmopolitan in the United States. The company also won the 2022 Mecca Beauty Innovation Award and was named a finalist in the 2021 Beauty Design Awards. Customer reviews often praise the Hydrating Glow Mist Setting Spray SPF for its convenience and the CabanaClear Water Gel Serum SPF50 for its lightweight texture and strong protection.

Media coverage has continued to support the brand’s visibility. Forbes highlighted the SPF-infused blush sticks as a notable seasonal release, and Reset Magazine offered a positive review of the BeautyScreen SPF50 Peptide Foundation Tint for its smooth application and consistent results.

Naked Sundays supports charities dedicated to skin cancer prevention and awareness, promoting education, early detection, and the importance of daily SPF use as part of its lasting commitment to protecting future generations.
