Nicholas Michael Hallahan, also known as Nick Hallahan, has devoted most of his life to the water and the boating profession. Growing up in Missouri near the Lake of the Ozarks, he learned early the value of respecting the water, maintaining machinery, and taking responsibility for every vessel he operated. What began as small weekend boating trips evolved into a lifelong career built on dedication, consistency, and experience. He is a USGS 200-ton Captain with over 15 years of experience operating and maintaining yachts across the Gulf Coast, East Coast, and Caribbean.

From an early age, his connection to boating shaped his character and work ethic. His passion for the sea was already well established when he earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Troy University. After completing his studies, he moved to Florida and took every opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the yachting industry. From working on deck to managing mechanical systems, he built his knowledge through years of practical learning and commitment.

He began as a deckhand and later became a mate, serving aboard vessels ranging from 40 to over 100 feet. Through dedication and professional growth, he earned his OUPV (six-pack) license and later achieved a 200 Ton Master’s license, STCW95 Basic Training, Maritime Security Awareness, and several engineering certifications. His experience includes working aboard yachts such as Better Boat, Blue Eyed Girls, Happy Hour, LUMAR, and Love Life, managing and operating vessels up to 143 feet.

He is recognized for his technical ability and calm approach under pressure, whether performing maintenance, overseeing refits, or managing day-to-day vessel operations. His leadership is grounded in communication, accountability, and teamwork, earning trust from both crew and owners. Outside work, he enjoys boating, snorkeling, spearfishing, off-roading, and volunteering with the Shy Wolf Sanctuary, staying active and connected to nature.

With a proven record of professionalism, experience, and integrity, Nicholas Michael Hallahan continues to build his private and charter yachting career, offering reliability, precision, and confidence to every vessel under his command.
