Nice breakdown Mike. I sway more toward product creation but do the affiliate thing too. Neat for diversifying income streams for sure.

Thank heaven for "cantankerous curmudgeons", especially when they give advice like this! Since June 1st, the day I joined Triberr, I have been reading content and researching this platform.

I'm sure there's great content here and I'll continue to read and research. But so far, yours is the 1st post I've enjoyed enough to share. This is as good as it gets! Thanks for your honesty.

I don't do "gurus", they're a waste of my time. As a matter of fact, I don't even know what that word means, in terms of being applicable to bloggers. What's good for the goose is not necessarily good for the gander. It feels good to finally "meet" someone who thinks like I do.

It's pretty good, but I wish it had a picture to share with it. You can get some royalty free ones from pexels.com, but make sure that you use something like inkscape to add text to them, this helps them to appear unique to search engines. Also made a point to make the tips stand out, but it would be easier for people to understand if the primary point of the tip was in a sub-heading. It's a bit easier on the eyes.
