Several thousand!? Wow :-O. I wouldn't blame you! For some of my post I deleted the image and left plain text. I put an image on the ones that were the most popular. I deleted anything that wasn't getting any traffic or was no longer relevant. Thanks for reading!

Totally agree with you. It's highway robbery. I switched over to Imgur about a month ago but I really don't have the time or energy or desire to go back and edit all of my old posts.......There are several thousand of them. I will probably just delete the oldest ones and let the images do whatever they're going to do on the other ones. I despise Photobucket for doing this!!
