Paolo Davide Farah is an acclaimed legal scholar, professor, and expert in international economic law, environmental sustainability, and global trade regulations. His distinguished career has been driven by a commitment to advancing international collaborations to solve pressing issues like environmental protection and the complexities of trade ethics. He received his J.D. in International and European Law from Paris Ouest La Defense Nanterre University in France, followed by an LLM in European Legal Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium, in 2003. He then earned a dual PhD in International Law from Aix-Marseille University in France and the University of Milan in Italy in 2011.

Farah’s professional journey began at the World Trade Organization's Legal Affairs Division in Geneva, where he was immersed in the global regulatory environment and gained expertise in navigating international trade laws and disputes. He later joined the prestigious international law firm Baker & McKenzie in Milan, specializing in international business law, where he provided expert advice on complex cross-border transactions and compliance issues.

Paolo Farah holds a professorship at West Virginia University, where he is part of the faculty at the John D. Rockefeller IV School of Policy and Politics within the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences. He teaches a variety of courses covering public administration, environmental policy, law, and energy justice.
