Richard Ceffalio Jr. Male • United States of America
Richard Ceffalio Jr. is a Chicago-area community leader whose life has long reflected a commitment to faith, family, and service. Raised in a close-knit Italian-American household, he developed an early respect for tradition, loyalty, and generosity through strong family connections and a deep cultural identity. Those values continued to guide him throughout his education at Notre Dame High School in Niles and later at DePaul University in Chicago, where he broadened his perspective while strengthening the discipline and curiosity that would shape his adult life.
Throughout the years, Rich has remained active in community and charitable efforts across the Chicago area. His leadership and dedication to service earned him the Outstanding Achievement in Leadership Award from Dreams for Kids, a nonprofit organization that empowers young people facing adversity. He has also contributed through board service with the National Kidney Foundation and the Columbian Club of Chicago, supporting health advocacy, cultural organizations, and programs designed to strengthen communities and assist individuals facing difficult circumstances.
Rich Ceffalio's philanthropic work has included volunteering and supporting organizations such as Elevate Life Church, Toys for Tots, and the National Kidney Foundation. During the holiday season, he has participated in Meals for the Homeless on Thanksgiving, helping provide food and support to people in need. In 2023, he participated in a food pantry initiative focused on sorting, packing, and distributing meals to local families. He has also contributed to relief efforts for wildfire victims in California and supported Champions in Christ, an organization serving individuals with special needs and their families.
Family remains central to his life and priorities. Richard lives in Illinois with his wife, Nicole, and their three children, where daily life centers on faith, shared experiences, and meaningful time together. Friends and relatives often describe him as someone who values togetherness and consistently shows up for the people closest to him. Family celebrations, sporting events, holidays, and graduations are approached with enthusiasm and gratitude, reflecting the importance he places on maintaining strong personal relationships and lasting family traditions.
Outside of his community involvement and family life, Richard Ceffalio Jr. enjoys activities that keep him active and connected to the outdoors. He is a longtime sports enthusiast who has completed marathons and Ironman competitions, including three marathons in 2024 alone. He also enjoys boating, fishing, pickleball, and long drives, all of which provide a sense of balance and perspective. Travel is another important part of family life, particularly visits to Long Beach, where time together near the ocean offers an opportunity to relax, reconnect, and enjoy uninterrupted moments with loved ones.
