Steve G. Smithwick is the President and CEO of Master Wall and Creative Wall Products, Inc., two companies specializing in manufacturing and distributing engineered exterior wall systems. These systems enhance both aesthetics and environmental control between indoor and outdoor spaces. Steve founded Master Wall in 1987 and Creative Wall Products in 2005 to offer high-quality, affordable wall products to the architectural, engineering, and construction industries, supported by excellent customer service and competitive pricing.

With nearly four decades of experience in building materials, Steve has become a recognized expert in residential and commercial wall systems, particularly in the Southeastern U.S. His extensive knowledge of exterior insulation and finishing systems (EIFS) has been a cornerstone of his success. Steve advocates for continuous insulation systems (CIFS®), which improve thermal efficiency by minimizing energy loss, which is common in traditional stud and joist systems.

Steve attributes his success to his Christian faith, which is a guiding principle in his personal and professional life. In 1987, he recognized an opportunity to provide affordable siding products that could lower installation costs for commercial exteriors. Through Creative Wall Products, he offered architectural components that provided an economical alternative to traditional materials like metal, wood, and stucco.

The success of Master Wall led Steve to launch Creative Wall Products, which offers engineered exterior wall systems that outperform traditional cladding systems. These systems are known for their energy efficiency, especially when combined with thermal and moisture protection components.

Steve’s leadership in the EIFS industry is widely recognized. He has served as Vice President of the EIFS Industry Member Association (EIMA) and was elected President of its Board of Directors in 2021 and 2023. His leadership continues to influence the development of energy-efficient and moisture-resistant wall systems.
