Tanner Iskra served as a Marine Corps combat cameraman and cinematographer for over a decade. From July 2003 through January 2015, he developed, directed, and edited numerous award-winning media projects for the department. He served as executive director, producer, production manager, and post-production supervisor, among other roles.
He was responsible for thirty videographers, graphic designers, illustrators, and photographers. His other duties included:
Achieving global perspectives in issued items,
Mission-specific marketing strategies are defined,
Legal department collaboration,
Content localization across languages and cultures,
Preventive maintenance operations,
Production schedule launch,
Support for programming and production.
In addition to being a war videographer, he was also a photographer. As a photojournalist, he was responsible for documenting high-profile events, humanitarian operations, and other international matters.
