Tom Pepin returned to Florida after graduating from Middlebury College in Vermont. After completing his education, he joined the family business and began working within Pepin Distributing Company. In 1986, he purchased the company from his father and began guiding its future direction.

Under his leadership, the company expanded into one of Florida’s largest beverage distribution operations. Over time, the organization developed into an enterprise valued at about $260 million. It served as an important distributor for major beverage manufacturers and became known for disciplined operations and reliable partnerships across the region.

While leading the company, Thomas also ensured that community involvement remained an important part of its identity. Pepin Distributing regularly supported nonprofit groups, civic organizations, and initiatives that assist first responders. In 2023, Temple Park was renamed in recognition of the Pepin family’s contributions to the city.
