Now, the family is embracing their new life on the West Coast. In his free time, when he's not spending time with his young daughter or working on his books, Tyler enjoys exploring the Bay Area. Tyler’s primary profession is writing. He profoundly loves storytelling, self-expression, and using words to connect with others. While the city's famous hills present a challenge, Tyler enjoys the physical activity and the opportunity to capture scenic views. He’s been working his way through 62 miles of mountain bike trails and bike lanes, rating their difficulty and mapping out the best routes. His efforts help others who want to bike around the city while discovering new spots.

Tyler also has a passion for food. After living in Manhattan for many years, he’s excited to test the theory that San Francisco’s food scene is even better. He’s been exploring various cuisines, including Mexican, Italian, Chinese, and Japanese. Tyler particularly enjoys the fresh seafood, such as local crabs and oysters, which are famous in the Bay Area. The city’s abundance of farm-to-table restaurants offers endless opportunities for Tyler to discover new flavors and culinary experiences.

Tyler is also a collector of rare stamps, coins, historical books, and manuscripts. He enjoys finding these unique items, connecting with their history and stories. Additionally, Tyler enjoys playing tennis and golf, appreciating both sports' mental and physical challenges.
