Vacen Taylor is an author, novelist and screenwriter. She started writing short stories in 2009 being published in international e-zines, Gold Coast Writers’ Association and then being signed with Odyssey Books in 2011 to produce a series of seven books in the Starchild Series. She currently writes and reviews for Geeks Unleashed UK. She recently presented at the Gold Coast Writers Festival and participated in the ‘Authors in Schools Program’. She enjoys creating stories that touch something in common or speaks to the emotions in all human beings. She loves writing for children and adults and presenting workshops to all ages who are interested in storytelling. Vacen believes in expressing the uniqueness of self in her writing and in life. She is a happy person with a zest for life and exploring the world at large. When she’s not world building with her writing, she’s most likely reading comics, studying, watching films or volunteering with the homeless and disadvantaged.
