Victor Sheverda Male • United States of America
Victor Sheverda is a Construction Project Manager based in the Greater Denver Area, focusing on managing commercial projects from the planning phase through completion. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. He earned the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification, demonstrating his capability to lead construction projects using well-defined and efficient methods. His approach blends practical field experience with formal project management processes, helping him consistently meet deadlines, control costs, and maintain strong communication with all involved stakeholders.
His professional path began in his family’s company, which specialized in building custom residential homes. That company used Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) technology, which is known for creating energy-efficient and highly durable buildings. His early exposure to this method shaped his dedication to sustainability, a value that continues to influence his decisions in the construction industry. The resilience of ICF buildings against fire, pests, rot, and natural disasters strengthened his interest in promoting lasting and efficient structures throughout his career.
He gained early experience through internships with a large construction group, working on essential projects and learning directly from experienced engineers and crews. Those opportunities led him to a position in commercial construction, first as a Project Engineer and later as an Assistant Project Manager with a respected contractor in Colorado. In this role, he manages contracts, oversees subcontractor performance, and coordinates project elements to maintain steady progress and positive outcomes.
In addition to his traditional project management background, he holds a certification in Agile methodology. This allows him to approach projects in more miniature, manageable stages, making adapting to changes and incorporating feedback easier while keeping the overall schedule intact. These skills are especially valuable in high-end and complex projects that involve numerous variables, such as supply chain disruptions and labor planning.
He spent part of his early life in Hawaii, where he developed a connection to nature. After relocating to Colorado, he attended Cherokee Trail High School and was active in academics and athletics. He achieved four years of varsity status in tennis and qualified multiple times for regional and state-level competitions. He initially enrolled in Civil Engineering at a university in Boulder but later transferred to Colorado State University to pursue a more hands-on career. He graduated with a 3.78 GPA and became a member of the Sigma Lambda Chi Honor Society while consistently appearing on the Dean’s List.
During college, he completed three internships that allowed him to work on notable projects, including developments in Colorado and the restoration of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.—a professional highlight he holds in high regard. He later worked as a Project Engineer on the National Western Center Campus Energy project, which involved building North America's most extensive sewer-heat recovery system. His attention to detail and adaptable mindset led to a role as a Construction Estimator, where he reviewed proposals and coordinated budgets. In 2022, he advanced to Assistant Project Manager, leading procurement and contract activities on major commercial builds such as the NCAR-Wyoming Supercomputing Center.
Outside work, he enjoys outdoor exploration and supports conservation through involvement with a national wildlife foundation. He has climbed many of Colorado’s tallest peaks, taken part in demanding hikes, and stays active with sports such as Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, boxing, skiing, and weightlifting. His love for discovery also fuels his passion for travel and history.
Victor Sheverda brings a potent combination of technical ability, real-world experience, and a focus on sustainability to every project, ensuring he contributes meaningful results to the built environment around him.
