Zuri Ward

Zuri Ward is a proud graduate of the illustrious North Carolina A&T’s Journalism and Mass Communications Bachelor of Science program. While studying in “Aggie Land,” Zuri found a way to develop her affinity for the written word and her love for Hip-Hop music in the form of blogging. Now, a freelance writer, who just finished up her Master of Arts degree in New Media Journalism at Full Sail University, Zuri’s hobby has transformed into a full-time love affair with Hip-Hop culture and the newest object of her affection – digital media.

With a resume a mile long, Zuri considers every experience “a crash course in another part of life.” Since 2010, Zuri has held several positions in an Apple Inc. call center, taught golf to kids, and served as a colorful sales associate at an Urban Outfitters retail store. These experiences, along with several internships and street team gigs, managing social media accounts for several business and personal brands, and exploring her own other business ventures has helped Zuri develop a larger-than-life version of herself. This mystical entity, better known as Zuri Supreme, is a multi-media Alphanista and founder of the Pretty Menace Media brand.
